Why this site exists

Search “Airbnb management Michigan” and you get two kinds of page: companies selling themselves, and lead-generation sites that will sell your enquiry to whoever bid highest. Neither will tell you the one thing that decides your shortlist — that not one of the 10 Michigan management companies we could verify publishes a rate.

So we built the thing we wanted: a market-by-market atlas of 36 Michigan towns, 36 company reviews built out of published facts, and a “published fee” column that is allowed to be empty.

What we will not do

• We do not estimate fees. If a company does not publish a rate, the page says “Not published”. It never says “around 20%”.
• We do not publish local licence numbers, caps or tax rates. Michigan ordinances change and stale numbers cause real damage. We point you at the clerk instead.
• We do not sell placements. Nobody in any table here paid to be in it, and nobody can pay to move.
• We do not pass your details to companies. There is no lead form on this site.

How we make money

Some links to companies we recommend are commercial. Those are marked on the editorial policy page, and they never change a ranking — the ranking is set before anything commercial is considered, and our picks are labelled as ours on every page they appear.

Michigan Rental Atlas is not affiliated with any city, township, county, tourism bureau, trade association or government body in Michigan, nor with any company reviewed here. Where we quote a company, we quote its own public page and give the date we read it.
